Croc Shoes- Product Review

Croc shoes are the latest fashion craze, but they are also a great for those individuals that suffer from foot discomfort.  I became a believer recently, and I'd like to share why.

1.  Croc shoes are extremely lightweight.  Each shoe style varies slightly, but these shoes only weigh a few ounces per shoe!

2.  They come in a variety of styles.  Many people think that these shoes only come in the familiar style with the holes on the top of the shoe.  Think again!  Choose from Mary Janes, sandals, hiking style shoes and more!

3.  Budget friendly is one of the best aspects of these shoes.  The price range is approximately $25 to $65, depending on the style.

4.  They fit wide feet!  If you've been suffering from rheumatoid arthritis or other connective tissue disease that makes your feet ache and swollen, these may be the shoes for you.  You can wear thick socks with these, and some of the styles have a convertible strap that can either be worn on the heel or flipped up to the top of the shoe, creating a mule style.

5.  The sandals are comfortable and last for many seasons.  Don't let the foam-like material fool you- these shoes are built to last.  I half expected these shoes to crack, split and disintegrate, but they really can take a beating, and clean up easily with a sponge, soap and water.

6.  Colorful and sensible.  It is no wonder that while visiting my physicians and physical therapy center I noticed many nurses and doctors wearing these shoes.  The people I spoke to stated that it is like walking on air all day, and that their feet didn't ache even after being on their feet for 8 hours or more.  In addition, many styles come in a variety of colors, from bright colors to more sensible navy, black and browns.

I guess I can't say enough good things about these shoes.  I recently bought a new style, the Troika, and love them!  They look like the original Cayman style Croc, but without the holes in them.

One word of caution though, there are many other shoe manufacturers trying to capitalize on this shoe trend, but if you try on a real pair of Crocs you'll immediately know the difference in both comfort and weight.  Look for the little button on the sides of the shoes with the picture of a crocodile- a sign that you're buying the real deal!
